Rhodes Distances and Driving Times

The times assume normal daytime traffic outside the August peak. Add fifteen to twenty minutes to anything on the east coast between ten in the morning and one in the afternoon in high summer, and add whatever it takes to find a space at the other end.

Everything on the island is within two hours of everything else, so plan by scenery rather than by kilometres.

Airport → Rhodes Town → Kallithea → Faliraki and back: a half day, easy driving, plenty of stops.

Airport → Tsambika → Lindos → Kiotari: the classic east-coast day. Leave early, eat late.

Airport → Petaloudes → Kamiros → west coast home: the inland and west loop, best in a convertible and best outside the windiest afternoons.

Prasonisi at the southern tip is a 200 km round trip from the airport area. It is absolutely worth doing once, and it is the day to make sure you have fuel or charge in hand before Gennadi.
