Season is the biggest factor by far. The same convertible costs a fraction in May of what it costs in the first two weeks of August, and the shoulder months of May, June, September and early October are where the value sits on Rhodes.

Length of rental matters next: weekly rates are always better per day than three-day rentals, and a car booked for the full stay usually costs less than two short rentals.

Then the category. Convertibles, premium models and electric SUVs sit above the standard island hatchbacks, because there are only a handful of each on Rhodes and they are booked early.
